SHAMAN SHIBARI XPERIENCE

REALITY RESEARCH CENTER & HELSINKI STUDENT THEATRE

 
Shaman Shibari Xperience was our way to approach the sacred within the contemporary club culture. We combined contemporary shamanism, spoken word, live music and japanese bondage into a mix of subtle touches of the underworld and groovy sweeps of the urban culture.

Spoken word was performed by the poet J.K.Ihalainen, rapper Dxxxa D and shaman Susanna Aarnio. They were accompanied by the Third Eye Orchestra. Tinttu Henttonen and her Shibari-Bondage Team performed rope suspensions and a crew of performers offered the audience personal bondage experiences through the night.
